Loss of battery

Rode my ‘07 VMax today. After a quick 30 minute ride I returned home,shut it off and opened the garage door. Turned the key and no power from the battery. Turned the switch off and on many times. No power to anything. Decide to push bike into the garage. Turned the key and lo and behold everything lights up, hit the ignition switch bike fires up. Anyone experience this?

Ground straps too. Simplest thing to check....battery connections. Make sure they are tight.

Could be bad battery. Or could be bad regulator and you used up the power on your ride. Though usually you will have at least some light even if dim.

This was a complete loss of connection. I thought I would post on here and see if these bikes had a history of this particular issue.

You can have this situation on any bike or car.
