I actually thought the same thing, but as Vmax1260 said it wouldn't stay stock long LOL. Modding is a disease I tell you!!

Actually, excessive spending (on anything) to destructive lengths is considered an addition.

There's a lot of things you can do to make a VMax better/safer ride without spending a mint or reducing the reliability of the bike:

braided brake lines, louder horn, progressive fork springs, solid mounts, fork brace, better seat, jetting and exhaust mods. There's also chrome and billet bits and pieces to brighten up rusted/darker parts.

So you can still mod AND get 40 miles to the gallon in a daily-rider form...and Toxic will still be there for those exotic mods (NOS, turbos, superchargers, flux capacitors)!
