vin # says 000091... you think they started at 000090 maybe? kinda kewl... theres a guy here in regina that has #0017 on the plate on his 09.

I think it may be that there were plate numbers starting at 1 for each country that imported them, whereas the VIN would have to be unique. So the US's run of 1-1000 may have started at VIN *******090 :confused2:

From what I understand the badge number #2 means that this person was the second one to pay his $1000 pre-order deposit. The badge number is totally unrelated to the actual production order (VIN) on any of the bikes... so, 91st bike built for the US market and the second person to pay his/her deposit. There was an attempt to trade badges to match VIN's, but I think only one person was actually able to find someone else with a matching badge number.

For example: My VIN is 683 and my badge number is 840.

Sal98 is correct. The badge number is related to the pre-order.
