Mid-engine Cadillac 'halo car' for 2018 release?

IS this gonna be based on the mid-engine Corvette rumored to be out in 2018 as a 2019 model?

AWD, hybrid, twin turbos?

Aesthetically it lags behind Fords mid engine offering but I assume they will smooth it out considerably before production. If GM finally has a formidable mid engine prototype in the works I hope they create something not linked to the worst luxury car brand in automotive history or a sports car that already has a dedicated following. Its probably time to park Cadillac between Saturn and Pontiac. I would love to.see them take a new platform in a completely new direction and maybe a new model line. Im anxious to see how far and in what direction they take this.
