Unfortunately end of life is inevitable and it is awful to have lost both parents so close together. It does get better - keep reminding yourself of the happy times.

I lost my mom to suicide in 2019, and what I have learned is that as long as you remember and live the life lessons they taught you and spread their knowledge and wisdom to others, they are never truly gone. Share your loved ones and their memories with as many who will listen and know that they are smiling down upon you and your endeavors. My deepest condolences to you OP, I hope you have found some peace.

I have two "funerals" or what the Governor will allow in the next week. Neither had anything to do with the bug but their close families could not do anything to help. It is good to hear that you could render some aid the last few weeks.
