Here are some very expensive bikes, NCR, the Ducati mod company, has several. The list also includes the notorious Dodge 'Tomahawk' replica which obviously is 'capable of near-400 mph!' :rofl_200:

They also don't name only new bikes, which leaves this list suspect, because if you just considered 'what is the most anyone ever-paid for a bike,' or, 'what would it take to make the owner part with this particular bike,' you would have to include some famous racing-heritage machines and bikes owned by famous people, such-as the Brough Superiors owned by TE Lawrence and the Rollie Free Vincent Black Lightning.

I would settle for a 350/350 Chevy.:confused2::rofl_200:

The LS-series aluminum Chevys are more-suited to mcy use, if indeed any car V8 can be considered for a bike. And the inline-5 or inline -6 aluminum GM 'Atlas' engines could, when combined onto a common crankcase, be a (446 cu. in) V-10 or a (524 cu. in!) V-12!

Guys who grew-up in the '60's are who would name a 350/350, Dave. And before the 350 in about 1968, it was the 327!

ever hear someone say...."it has a big block 350 in it":rofl_200::biglaugh:

Two guys in a Chevy II 327 handed my friend his lunch from 2nd gear-on in his two year-old SS396 Chevelle back in MI at the end of the '60's. You gotta be suspicious of a car wearing a straight front axle, and an idle as-lumpy as a flop-house mattress.:rofl_200:
