My Spanish mates rear tyre

So, posting for my neighbour in Tenerife, he has a 98, wants to get a bigger rear wheel, 17"x 5.5", apparently a FZR wheel is a good swop? Any suggestions?

We can convert a stock rear wheel easier then we can convert a sportbike rear wheel. There is no bolt on factory type rear wheel that simply interchanges.

Go with an 18" X 5-1/2" and you won't lose as-much top-end as with a 17". Then again, how many of us have reached terminal velocity on a VMax?
