Ok, ok, so it wasn't a fantastic VMax tour of some exotic locale, but it WAS a helluva lot of fun... :biglaugh:
I took a hop across the pond to get married in Scotland. Spent a week in Ireland, too. My only regret was NOT having the Max over there, 'cause the roads are just wide enough for comfortable MC riding... :rofl_200:
From a $$$ exchange standpoint, we could not have picked a worse time to visit Europe, but what a beautiful time it was...
We saw all the William Wallace landmarks (Braveheart) in Scotland as well as Trim Castle (where the filming took place) in Ireland. Also visited Leap Castle in Ireland (reportedly the most haunted in Ireland).
We were married at the Dunure Castle ruins overlooking the ocean with a pastor, piper and witnesses present (all local folks). No family, no kids, no stresses.
I highly recommend it over the usual pomp and BS... :clapping:
