Dated 1976, Roach Studio product.
I am a fan of this style, Roach was in OH.
The paint is from the Midwest school of painting, Ron Finch is another practitioner, here's a van and that's Ron, the little guy. I've been to his shop in MI, and have spoken w/him at Daytona Bike Week.
Ron builds some 'out-there' customs, and often uses small diameter round stock to create sculpted fenders and other bike pieces.
Same bike.
Cool example of pinstriping, this is a t-shirt. The design is called 'Lightning.'
This is reminiscent of Ken Howard's pinstriping designs, all done freehand. "Who's Ken Howard?"
Howard working on a pinstripe design. He was also a gunsmith, a metal fabricator, a painter, and more. If you do a bit of searching on the internet, you will find much-more on this great creative mind who did some of the most-inventive work in motorcycling. Unfortunately, he was also fighting personal demons, and he succumbed to them.
