neg and pos upgrade cable kits

Has anyone installed a negative or positive ubgrade cable kit they use bigger wire for better starting and current flow kits run about 35 to 40 dollars.

Yes, Not sure there is any true benefit though.

I installed the one from the guy in England. Both kits (starter and battery). Bought off eBay. Really haven't noticed a lot of difference. :confused2:

There are some bikes that are definitly underwired (ie early 2000's suzukis) that can burn wires, but from what I have seen so far the VMAX has a pretty quality setup, there should not be much loss there.

I should say the ones I bought are definitely higher quality that stock and much thicker. Also grounded at better spot. Just couldn't notice much difference in performance. I was not having problems though. Just wanted to delay the eventual starter clutch problem. :biglaugh:

I think that the best advice would be to clean the earth points on a (relatively) regular basis?
