Well, after a 37 year long love for the mighty Vmax, as well as 22 years of ownership (3 gen 1's & 3 gen 2's) I've decided to move on. I sold my mint 05 back in February and just said goodbye to my mint 15 with 1500 miles on it last week. I have some remaining parts etc. that I'm hoping to clear out. They include new take off parts from a zero mile 2020, a beautiful form fit OEM cover I purchased overseas and a new genuine Yamaha drivers seat custom fitted with a gel insert to look absolutely stock. It doubled my comfort time in the saddle from the stock cinder block. I'm asking $500 for the mufflers as a pair, $100 for the Cat, $75 for the mirrors, $50 for the taillight, $50 for the levers, $20 for the air filter, $250 for the cover (with storage bag) and $375 for the seat. I also have 3 promotional posters from the 2009 release. They are new, never mounted. I have had 2 of these dry mounted for my own enjoyment - $25 each. All prices would be plus shipping. Let me know if you're interested in any or all. Thanks.

It is exactly the same. The only difference is in the comfort.

Thanks
But I was looking for a little more height.
Thanks again

I see. I don't know of anyone who has raised height options. I'm a tall rider as well and compensated by lowering the driver's pegs an inch with blocks from Exactrep and installing highway pegs made by a gentleman in Australia. The comfort issue with the Vmax is ultimately one of the reasons that I have moved on. I don't use all the power they offer anyways, so why not enjoy a more suitable, comfortable ride?

I'm interested of the seat, but what is that metallic bit on it? I don't reckon I have that on mine, -13.

Hi sir are you in usa

That's the hole where the flip up centerpiece for the gas filler mounts. You would remove that piece from your own seat and mount it on this one. 4 bolts and 2 clips. It takes 5 minutes.
