Sean I saw the shouldered bosses for the mounting of the caliper and in my experience the shouldered bosses are for the 1985 to 1992 front end. Assuming that it is 84 mm on center mounting for the caliper, that is the early 85 to 92 design. As you know the later dimension is 100 mm on center for a 93 to 07. I believe the rotor is 298 mm for the 93 to 07. The spider for that rotor does not look like any stock generation one rotor that I know of.
I should have also notices the drain screw!

I need to see more of the fork but that looks to be 93-95 Vmax silver 4 piston calipers. If so there are R1's, sumitomo six piston and 93-07 Vmax's that will all fit without adapters. I have adapters for other models like Busa and ZX12
These are the pads I use. Ive also use EBC 252's Screenshot_20210822-155748_eBay.jpg
I agree. Early 85-92 forks. So that would narrow the calipers down to FZR400RR's which are hard to find.
Thanks. At least I've got something to go on now if I need new seals 👍

That is a rear caliper on the rear. The left front (or right front) only has one bleeder and that is at a slightly different angle. Looks like an EBC rotor on the rear though.

Indeed, searching for a picture of them proved to be elusive plus it seems there may be different types.

Anyways it looks to be a simple way to "upgrade" to 4 pot callipers on the older vmax if you can find a pair.

Get guys. Long time been away. Thanks for the help. Gave Mrs. Maxxy some work and a face lift.
Thought I would share. Thanks to the site for all the info.

Cheers.

Hi, I had an 89 and love the colors! Yours looks great! I had a holeshot exhaust on it and it sounded amazing, what exhaust do you have? Really nice looking bike, good luck with it.

Thanks man. Always wanted one when I was young.

Not sure what exhaust it is. I bought it and it was all scrapped up but it does sound awesome !

Exhaust looks like an old original over/under hindle that someone painted up. Can't see the front well enough to confirm.
