Names John
Gotten myself a 2000 vmax. Lovely Carbon bodywork beast!!
Not gonna lie. Has been a learning curve with engine seen as the bike is almost same age as me

Will be planning to ask questions as unfortunately after putting my first couple hundred miles on it, it has decided to not start anymore .

Folks not used to carbureted vehicles may forget that carb equipped vehicles usually have a choke for cold starts. I only mention because carbs have been mostly obsolete for decades and it is no longer necessarily common knowledge for young street bike riders.

Tbh I've reading the forum for while now. And luckily I come from a biker family so all good .
It's just having mental shotgun blast backfires through the exhaust and never starts!

Did the full carb strip and wet float set up so I'm sorta confident in that
