An early version of the Ariel Atom used the Yamaha FZR1000 5 valve/cylinder transverse-mounted inline-four cyl engine. Now it uses a GM supercharged engine.
On left-hand turns, watch the angle of the key fob on the right of the steering column. These cars corner at >1g!
The Z06 Corvette did pretty-well too. They took turns leading.
I must be getting old, I wouldn't want to try that now.
