Sept. Cycle World mag has , in their New Ideas section , new Ohlins shocks available for FLH , Dyna and Sportster models in 12 & 13 inch lengths. Adjustable for ride height , compression , rebound damping and spring preload for $ 908.88 Black , gold or , for some models , chromed springs.

Wondering if these could be used on the Max ?

Assuming that the mounting holes in the bushes are the same size then I guess they could....................

..............whether they would be any good would depend on appropriate spring and damping rates which is the unknown factor.

Assume that you know that Ohlins already do three shocks for the max; YA137, YA426 & YA427

Dont you have anything else to spent money? :rofl_200: Beer, hookers, drugs? LOL

As far springrate, stroke and rebound/compresion rates are close to v-max values you can use any shock you will be able to install.
