See Some Pictures at the Bottom......

Whatever you do, don't buy her book. I hope all people, young and old know this.... IF not, please read this entire message. In "my time" it was fairly well known what she did, but over time it seems to have been forgotten or lost in time.... Otherwise she never should be asked to perform in any capacity!

Ronald Reagan would be rolling over in his grave!!

JANE FONDA NAN CY REAGAN

This cannot go around too much. Those of us that were living in those years will never forget that she was a traitor and did a lot of damage tour boys .

She has now been chosen to play Nancy Reagan in her life story.
I am sending this one out because so many do not know this truth...
and also because she was on 3 times this week talking about her new book...
And how good she feels in her 70's... she still does not know what she did wrong... her book just may not make the best seller list if more people knew... also...

Barbara Walters said:
Thank you all. Many died in Vietnam for our freedoms.
I did not like Jane Fonda then and I don't like her now.
She can lead her present life the way she wants and perhaps SHE can forget the past, but we DO NOT have to stand by without comment and see her"honored" as a "Woman of the Century".
(I remember this well)
For those who served and/or died. . .
NEVER FORGIVE A TRAITOR. SHE REALLY WAS A TRAITOR!!
and now President OBAMA wants to honor her......!!!
In Memory of LT. C. Thomsen Wieland who spent 100 days at the Hanoi Hilton [Famous North Vietnam Prison]
IF YOU NEVER FORWARDED ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE FORWARD THIS SO THAT EVERYONE WILL KNOW!!!!!!
A TRAITOR IS ABOUT TO BE HONORED.
KEEP THIS MOVING ACROSS AMERICA

Jane Fonda is being honored as one of the '100 Women of the Century.'

BARBARA WALTERS WRITES:
Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still countless others have never known how Ms. Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country, but specific men who served and sacrificed during the Vietnam War.

The part of this is from an F-4E pilot.
The pilot's name is Jerry Driscoll, a River Rat.
In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF Survival School was a POW in Ho Lo Prison the ' Hanoi Hilton.'
Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell, cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ's, he was ordered to describe for a visiting American 'Peace Activist' the 'lenient and humane treatment' he'd received.
He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and was dragged away. During the subsequent beating, he fell forward on to the camp Commandant ’s feet, which sent that officer berserk.
In 1978, the Air Force Colonel still suffered from double vision (which permanently ended his flying career) from the Commandant’s frenzied application of a wooden baton.
From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the 47FW/DO (F-4E's). He spent 6 years in the ' Hanoi Hilton'...the first three of which his family only knew he was 'missing in action'. His wife lived on faith that he was still alive. His group, too, got the cleaned-up, fed and clothed routine in preparation for a 'peace delegation' visit.
They, however, had time and devised a plan to get word to the world that they were alive and still survived. Each man tiny piece of paper, with his Social Security Number on it, in the palm of his hand. When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each man's hand and asking little encouraging snippets like: 'Aren't you sorry you bombed babies?' and 'Are you grateful for the humane treatment from your benevolent captors?' Believing this HAD to be an act, they each palmed her their sliver of paper. She took them all without missing a beat. At the end of the line and once the camera stopped rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs, she turned to the officer in charge and handed him all the little pieces of paper...
Three men died from the subsequent beatings. Colonel Carrigan was almost number four but he survived, which is the only reason we know of her actions that day.

I was a civilian economic development adviser in Vietnam , and was captured by the\ North Vietnamese communists in South Vietnam in 1968, and held prisoner for over 5 years.
I spent 27 months in solitary confinement; one year in a cage in Cambodia ; and one year in a 'black box' in Hanoi . My North Vietnamese captors deliberately poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a nurse in a leprosarium in Banme Thuot , South Vietnam , whom I buried in the jungle near the Cambodian border. At one time, I weighed only about 90 lbs. (My normal weight is 170 lbs)
We were Jane Fonda's 'war criminals....'

When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi , I was asked by the camp communist political officer if I would be willing to meet with her. I said yes, for I wanted to tell her about the real treatment we POWs received... and how different it was from the treatment purported by the North Vietnamese, and parroted by her as 'humane and lenient'.

Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky floor on my knees, with my arms outstretched with a large steel weight placed on my hands, and beaten with a bamboo cane.
I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda soon after I was released. I asked her if she would be willing to debate me on TV. She never did answer me.

These first-hand experiences do not exemplify someone who should be honored as part of '100 Years of Great Women.' Lest we forget....' 100 Years of Great Women' should never include a traitor whose hands are covered with the blood of so many patriots.
There are few things I have strong visceral reactions to, but Hanoi Jane's participation in blatant treason, is one of them. Please take the time to forward to as many people as you possibly can. It will eventually end up on her computer and she needs to know that we will never forget.

I wasn't even alive yet and what that bitch did makes me want to puke... :barf:

Jane Fonda should face a trial then firing squad if convicted. Plain and simple. Jane is doing a back pedal on every
accusation. Assuming every story is a lie, which is a stretch, what's left are pictures with the enemy. That alone is
enough for me. She went too far.
I remember well what she did. Younger people need to know.
Thanks Dave.

I beg to differ Zack, in her blogs Jane has plenty of supporters. And, gets to offer an excuse
or denial for every action. So, if Dave wants to air it out he has every right to. What's junk to you may be important to some of us.

I would need to now alot more about this war and alot more about what she was trying to do before i would throw stones. Everything i have ever herd about the vietnam war was that we should not have went to war. so if she was trying to speak out about not going to war and we shouldent have went to war she might have been doing what she believed in. That being said alot of people dont feel we should have went to war with iroc or to war on terrorism. I myself am woundering about the truth behind 911. But its a big pond and sometimes to be the big fish you have to do what you have to do. But than again the little fish can be good at eating the big fishes eggs. Its not easy to be number 1 but it sure is easy to live here for now....Mike

What she did was wrong, she has openly apologized (twice), and didn't quite do all the stuff that is listed in the story. Still not worthy to do anything more then sit in the poorhouse!

She's not knicknamed "Hanoi Jane" because she ran a whorehouse on the south side of Saigon! :biglaugh:

Bet ol' Henry paid some righteous coin to keep her ass from getting charged with high treason....which she definitely should have been!!

Yo Jane.....:looser::jerk it::th_flipthebird::double angry bird::jerk it::looser:

I was referring to the parts about Obama honoring her/getting official recognition.

My point wasent to defend her. It is to say sometimes what you here isnt always the full truth or it is the full truth but with reasons. To tell you the truth i dont know what to trust anymore. But i do know who to trust and its not many. For now i will worry about my little piece of real estate in the big pond and let hollywood and big money do what hollywood and big money have been doing for years. Maybe some day i will be able to trust more than i do now but today i will stick with what i got and keep my eyes ears and nose on alert.

I am a VN vet. (Dec 65 thru Dec 68). She is universally hated by all of us. I have never supported any of her movies or other actions. If you were not there you have no right to make any statements!!!

Thats not true. We all have a right to speak. It might not be the right thing to speak about it but we do have the right to speak. Just because someone wasent in the war dont mean its off limits to them.

Hey!

Those Vietnam soldiers who died did not do so for our Freedoms!! Wake Up!

Wanna try someone for treason, try LBJ and Nixon, for killing 57,000, mostly drafted, young men, in a war built on lies, fought by the poor and uneducated, and fully knowing it could not be won, and for wiping out over a million Vietnamese who never threatened us,,WAKE UP PLEASE!

Yes, Jane was a shit head, but she killed no-one, just a naive bitch.

Today the Vietnamese regime is the same as back then, COMMUNIST, and we are closing US plants and moving the jobs there by the tens of thousands, why??? because we can make money off their very cheap labor,,,ask those who used to work for Spartan Electronics in Jackson Michigan. Those are the real FUC#### that spit on the graves of those 57,000!!!!!!!!!!!:damn angry:

No soldiers have died for our freedom since the Revolutionary War in the 1770's. It can be argued that WWII was potentially for our freedom if Hitler tried to take over the US after taking over Europe but I doubt he would have. All wars since the Revolutionary war have been politically motivated. That does not make the soldiers less patriotic or brave.

Jane Fonda posed for pictures on a VC anti-aircraft weapon that was used to shoot down our pilots. Her BS was one of the reasons VN vets were treated so shabbily. No one wants to fight in disease ridden, booby trapped jungles where you don't know who the enemy is. But did it out of patriotism and duty. All wars are evil but not the fault of the soldier.

I have been on this forum for about 6 years and always avoid controversial issues but this one is very personal to me. I do not appreciate people who have no expeience in this spouting BS.

"Patriotism and duty", just what the war loving, war criminal politicians count on,,,,time to tell those chicken hawks to go fight the wars themselves, and to take their kids with them to partake in all the,,, glory.

Maybe not for "Our Freedom"........

Sometimes because its just the right thing to do.....

WWI & WWII Anyone?

Yup, and that's all there was to it for me....no heavy brain time, none of that shit....you get out of high school, put on a uniform and go......wherever they sent you. That's just what you did! It's what my Dad, uncles & cousins....did too. Some came home, a few didn't....just the way it was.

Well then, please have the decency, when you are sending young men off to die or be maimed or to see hell, what the TRUE reason for sending them off is, not the lie, but the true reason!!!:bang head:

Something wrong with that guys?

Hug you kids and grand-kids real tight, because I think some of you will be sending them off to war real soon, and I guess that is just fine with you:confused2:

O Ya, I think all those hundreds of thousands we will be killing would like to know the real reason we are in their country too.

More and more I have come to understand how Hitler pulled the shit he did.

That's a good take on what I said but not actually what I meant.

I meant it from a foreign relations perspective.

The right thing to do......

As in.......your next door neighbor is getting his house invaded by a bunch of thugs and their killing his family and stealing his shit....

Is it the right thing to do to step on and lend a hand?????

I mentioned WWI and WWI, specifically.
Not trying to justify wars since then.
