1984 Yamaha 1200 Venture
Things Bad:
Needs Cluster. Gas Gauge works sometimes. Speedometer does not work. Temp Gauge does not work.
Tachometer and Charging Gauge DO work.
Second gear will jump if you push it to hard (Over 3,000rpm). Other than that, shifts fine and quite.
Things Good:
Front tire Good. Rear tire almost new. New Battery.
Good Brakes. Lights and turn signals work. Has a good windshield.
Has a Top Box. I removed it.
Runs good.
This Bike does not look Bad for being 37 years old.
Just spent over $900 in repairs at Borderline and have the receipt.
Carburetors removed and cleaned. Carb boots replaced. Carb slides replaced. Air / Oil Filters replaced. Fresh Oil change. Radiator / Cooling System flushed twice. Rear Head removed because someone cross-threaded a spark plug. Replaced with New head gasket. New spark plugs and wires.
I have other Bikes needing my attention. This one's taking up space now.
Please read carefully. Don't waste my time and yours. This Bike will go cheap.
