I never did, but I am pretty sure they are identical to 2-wire crank/cam sensor.
Just find youtube 2-wire crank sensor test instructions. All 4 pick up coils of older models (they look like 2 coils) can be tested separately.

Easy to test without removing from the bike. The 90-07 is the single pickup vs the 85-89 dual pickups.
