Pics: spring(???), missing exhaust seal, oil leak.

3 problems:
1.Missing exhaust seal. Is there easy fast solution? seal is cheap, but I don't want to wait a week or so.
2.Spring attached to oil pan, what is it? Troll bell holder?
3.Oil leak. where does it come from?

One of your drain hoses goes into that 'pig's tail.'

You probably are missing an oil seal washer beneath that screw. That means the prior owner's been in there, and who knows what-other botched work lies ahead for you to discover?

Better buy a spare seal, they're easy to ruin if you don't take your time installing it/them.

The hole with the oil drip is used by Ventures for their shift shaft (with linkage behind the mid gear cover). You likely have a bad seal for the stator grommet or the pickup coil grommet where the wires pass through into the engine. Very common leak point.
