Hello all, I am thinking about selling the Vmax, it's a 1992 with some upgrades but mostly stock, has 9081 original miles, garage kept and runs great, any ideas what I should ask for it? Thanks

Fall in most parts of the country isn't the best time for sales, but as you're in Ft. Lauderdale, you should have better luck as it's a 12 month/year season here.

You have a 29 year old legend, if it's in great shape I'd start at 5k, stand firm for a month then start winding down, don't take less than 4k! Now if you need cash that's a different story should easily get 3500. Good luck.

I’m going to have to throw a bullshit flag on the play. In the not too distant past… We’re talking months here… I scanned craigslist and offer up ads around the country. There were no Gen1 Vmaxes to be found in that price range. Zero. Zilch. Nada. If they can be so commonly found out there in that price range, they must be very well hidden.

Note that the asking price we see in the ads doesn't always equal the selling price.

Just to add a reference, here in Oregon, I got my 07 with 1850 miles on it for $2500.

I’d start at 5000.00 and see how it goes you can always come down in increments advertising is free. It’s worth what someone will pay and there is always a buyer
