I think that's the same as the tomas powell T-boost set up years ago. Simply doubles the tach signal to the vboost brain tricking it into quicker and sooner opening. 3-4k in place of the 6-8k.
Thanks for the info, I need to finish getting the engine running well before I mess further with the modification. It's a project bike.
