R1 Forks, keep the R1 switch controls?

Has anybody swapped in a USD front end, and used the switch controls from the front end they used? I used a set of 2007 R1 forks, and was contemplating using the same switch controls from the R1. Turn signals, on/off, etc. The only thing I see of an issue, is having to remount the fuel reserve switch. I could wire a toggle, and mount it elsewhere. Any thoughts or concerns from anybody who has done this would be appreciated!

We've done custom switch installs and it's not a big deal to remount and make almost anything fit!

biggest deal is getting the right connectors... Gannon has them though...
