I have a line on a couple of well priced front rotors from an '01 yamaha R6. Will they bolt on to my stock '85 Max front wheel? I'm pretty sure they will, but would like some confirmation. I already have Hyabusa calipers, pads, and the lines, so if these rotors will work for me, all I would need to do is order the busa caliper adapters. Thanks!

I think the difference between them and the vmax is that the vmax ones are counter bored for the bolts heads not to touch the forks so this means that the heads sit lower on the rotor or screw further in. This needs confirmation though.

if they're 298mm and the rotor bolt holes line up they should work if you get the bolts counterbored.

Should bolt to any vmax wheel.
Rotor bolts will clear 85-92 forks.
Rotor bolts will smack the fork leg if used on 93-07 forks
At least, that is what I got out of Seans post last week.

I just checked on the rotors, and the R6 is the same as the R1 for those years. I'm going to try and grab them this week. Thanks
