Removing face plate on gauges

Is there a easy way to remove solve faceplate from teach/temp/ and warning lights? I painted it and I dont like the way it looks. Looks like poop

Use a spatula to free it up. Its glued... A bit of acetone may help to melt the glue.

Thats thin gauge aluminium sheet. Be careful. i don't know if acetone will dull the gauges plastic windows

Acetone WILL fog the plastic!

Yes it will good point! I know that from my paint gun gauge. Dow lol I guess ill just take it easy and use a razor blade and try
