It's funny...

We used to have a saying around here when our government was doing something ridiculous..

"The Americans wouldn't stand for that. There's NO WAY that would happen in America! They would storm the whitehouse!"


But I think that the powers that be are slowly taking away rights, small piece by piece.
It's so easy to do so - under a threat know as a terrorist - which is an enemy you can never truly defeat.

Pretty much sums up much of our current situation. Once cap and trade is in place, combined with our debt load and spending levels future generations will be living a life of slavery to the government. We cannot pay for this insanity.
