Seat recovering plan(?!)

1.Recover seat, ignoring fuel hole.
2.Figure out OK looking mushroom plug
3.Cut 4 petals (cross cut) above fuel hole, attach some vinyl pieces to pull petals down.
4.Plug hole with found (invented, manufactured) plug.
No, toilet plunger will not work, I already thought about it!!!

Now, I just need some forum member genius to figure out how to make a plug!!!!!!! No, I am not smart, I don't know!!!!

piece of dense 'shaped' foam covered as the seat and pushed into hole, perhaps with a small tab fitted to aid removal, electric carving knives are good for cutting foam although I have had success with a samurai sword

Plan to make plug:
plastic pipe with flange (mushroom). I will cover head with vinyl. Some rope attached to bottom end of pipe to prevent loosing at 200 MPH speed.
I need mushroom type plug to avoid sewing of vinyl around hole.
