Single seat conversion

Is it possible to do this cheaply?

I am guessing it's not a simple matter of taking off the back seat off? I eventually plan on getting a new back fender but would like to avoid that expense for a bit.

Would a custom new seat be needed?

Yep I like that better than mine. I saw it as soon as it came out & put a bid in mut it has not met reserve. Mine has no seat at all on back.

Thats similar to the one i used to have but its a bad job. He just cut the plastic to fit, didn't trim it to fit the vmax. If you notice the tail unit is wider than the seat so if you look from fwd to aft you will see 2 big holes behind seat middle section.

i have seen both ducato 916 and mv agusta tails on v-max and both look good.

dont you have somebody near you that make fiber parts for bikes?
i dont know how is the market in US but here there are people that make living doing fiber replacement parts for bikes.(wildweasel,do you know crazy bike?its name is pataneco,in gafanha and he does that work,many options if someday you decide a different look)


taking some measurements to the vmax front seat size and finding some tail that would be aproxx would be my aproach.

but i prefer the rear with no tail and just rear seat,for looks and also because i ride with my wife and that tails would not be so confy like max?s stock seat...

I saw a photo like this in a diffrent thread but me and my buddy are severly cutting down my tail sunday. I would pretty much get rid of it but I still have the stock brake light for the time being.

We are currently working on a bike and installing a ducati tail section on it.

Prolly not what you were thinking ...................but I did this this morning .I'm going to call it the DRAGMAXGASSER,its the rear seat pan with just enough foam to hide the rivets, if there is any interest I will refine the rear cover to make it look better and make it easier to build.
