In Hollywood FL on Sunday May 7 there is a car show on Hollywood Blvd. from 10-3, it's from US 1 to Dixie Hwy. I-95 Holywood Blvd. exit, east to Dixie Hwy, park, and walk through. Lots of old cars, probably some bikes.

Here's a pic of the car owned by the acquaintance I'll be visiting there today. He owns a body shop, and this is his C2 he's owned for 11+ years, and that's how-old the paint is. 1967 Corvette, three 2 bbl Holleys. This car won best of show at a meet that had 600+ cars, and the top Corvette award was personally awarded after being chosen by Dave Mcllellan, who was the chief engineer for the Corvette for GM for many years, he assumed the role from Zora Arkus Duntov. If you know anything about Corvettes, you know both these names. http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/history/mclellan.html

Some pics.

The V-8 Chevy 'dime' (S10) pickup should interest Kyle.

1961 Pontiac Ventura, check-out the fender badge, and the Kelsey-Hayes aluminum wheels, w/integral brake drums. A rare option, and one favored by Mickey Thompson. Look at the lug nut spacing.

1949 Cadillac 2 dr convertible, SBC power, 700R4 trans. built by a guy who's been doing cars like this for 30+ years. He's 82 y.o. now.

Early post war (WW II) Mercury 'lead sled' w/Carson 1-piece removable top.

1936 Ford all original, very pretty! Hard to find unaltered. Bonus to anyone who can tell me about how the brakes are actuated w/o having to google it.

Talladega terror, a Superbird!

A Roadrunner for you Mopar fans. Also a Dodge Demon, a nameplate Chrysler has resurrected for the newest Detroit hotrod, the drivetrain is derivative of the Hellcat, but even more HP! 2018 Challenger Demon w/800 ponies.
