    The Sun emitted a large solar flare a couple days ago, it's going to pass over Earth tonight. If you live in Canada or the Northern US and have a clear night, there's a good possibility you may see the Aurora Borealis around midnight. I've seen the Aurora, it certainly is worth having a look. Conditions around Western NY are predicted to be good for observing, so I'll be out on the deck. Look in the Northern sky to see them.

    I was lucky enough to see the lights when I was stationed at Ft. Drum, NY. Freaked me out at first because I didn't realize what it was. Pretty neat thing to see.
