I recently replaced a speedo cable, I reinstalled it the same as the previous cable.
Angled bent portion attached to the speedometer itself.
This seems backwards from what I would expect, as the angled portion has a boot to place over the connection and a thicker sheathing. The end connected to the wheel hub has no protective boot and much thinner jacketing.
Seems like this should be reversed so the end closest to the ground has the thicker jacketing and protective boot around the connector.
Anyone mind looking at thier speedo/wheel hub and seeing which side is connected to which?
