Hi, my starter motor has died on my 2009 Vmax after just 20,000 miles. Is there any where to source replacement parts or can it be refurbished? New one costs £814 a used one would suit

You don't say what symptoms you have so first you would need to establish exactly what is wrong. If the starter isn't turning over the first step would be to check that it is getting power before condemning the motor.
Some parts are available so depending on whats needed a replacement motor is unlikely.

The selonoid/Solonoid is clicking but nothing from the starter. Battery is good and power is transferring from the selonoid to the starter ok.

The Service Manual has a comprehensive diagnostic flowchart so the quickest way to get an accurate diagnosis would be to have a look there (pages 443-4 refer)
