Sir. Old trick to remove a blind bearing.weld a bead around the entire inside diameter of the bearing race in frame. let cool. the race when it cools will shrink and the race will fall out.there should be a shop nearby to do this easy task.saves a lot of cuss words and beat up parts.home made wedge puller for stem bearing.take 2 pieces of 2 1/2 inch by 1/4 flat steel.mark center.draw radius of lower bearing on both pieces.cut it the size of the i.d..match the other side.now you have 2 half moon pieces.use a 4 1/2 grinder .grind down the inside of both half moons.you will also have to noth the flat steel pieces to fit around the fork stop.weld a verticle plate about 1 1/2b? square on each side centered in the stem.on the second side do the same.you are building a wedge puller bolt together so it starts to pull the bearing up.another add on to this is to drill and tap both fat pieces take another flat bar piece.about 6-8 inches long drill both ends to match the holes you threaded.now lay the flat bar on top of stem use theaded rod to connect.tighten and the complete bearing will pop off.a little heat from a small torch helps.nt good at describing.just old school .old fart lmao.

that's assuming the heat does not distort the bearing seats or the person doing the weld bead does not accidently get weld on an unwanted area
