Does de baffleing the stock mufflers make more power?

More noise, yes, more power, not that I've seen. However, I've never dynoed a OEM bike, knocked holes in the megaphones, and thrown it back on the dyno. Something people try to change the exhaust note is to drill-out the rivets for the plates in the megaphones, remove it, and drill some 1/2" holes in the construction behind it, and then screw/rivet the plates back-on, spacing it out a bit. The exhaust gets a bit deeper and louder but not objectionably-so.
