Yes, in did.

However Im a fan of welding the races around and let them go out by themselfs.

blind bearing puller made short work of those on my end. autozone should rent them. HF has them for like $30.

Generally I saw special made pullers, from TIMKEN or SKF which looks like "taper lock" but with sharp jaws. They are expensive tho.

I also saw some special "inductive heaters" form manufacters above, but again expensive as hell. Totaly unharm removing method.

You guys might try to check them out.
