Hi .I was wondering how I can rig sun pro tachometer or abigger tach to my v max.Thanks.

On a lot of the sunpro's, its pretty straight forward. Mount it up, flip the switch on the tach to "2cyl" then wire it up; Green to the tach sender (just hook it to the tach line on the factory tachometer, If I remember right it's the gray one.) red power, and black ground.

These are the one I used and the one I've seen used.
(I used)

(Others have used)

On other brands there is a little more involvement as several have to be adapted to the Vmax ignition system.

Thank you very much K J.

No problem.

Some consider a 5" tach on the big size, and prefer the 3.5" as it matches in size to the stock speedo. What I did when I set up mine was use the 5" w/ shift light and used a sigma bike computer They go for about $25.

I have found the 3.5 inch for 30.00at my local auto parts store.Do you think it will work out for me?.

I'm sure it will work out for you.

When I mounted mine, I removed the speedometer. Then drilled a couple of holes in the spot where the speedo sat, then bolted her up with some blue locktite.
I didn't take any pictures of how I did it, just the after shot, You can kind of see the one of the allen-head bolts I used.

Hope it helps.
