Well...you have to read all the small print. "Does not include destination charges" In addition I suspect there will be some other dealer prep charges in there.
It will probably bring the price up around $16, 500 - $16,750 or so which is still a good price for a brand new Gen 2. I paid $16,500 for mine in 2008.
I got $10,000 worth of fun out of it in the first year.
AL state sales tax is 4% and there could be an additional local levy. I found something that says sales tax for cars is 2% http://www.carsdirect.com/car-pricing/how-to-calculate-alabama-car-tax
So check w/the dealer to see which is correct.
