very nice jacket. i like my leather, ONLY problems i have with it is the sleeves don't zipper all the way closed, they aren't tight against my wrists. also, i wish it had a zipper on the back so air would flow thru instead of puffing up the jacket. that should be easy to add tho.

oh look at this heidi, a 2010 vmax on ebay....

This has been my MO since we were married. Start looking at something REALLY brutally expensive...new Goldwing, for example. Research it. Ogle it (with her along), then mention you might be willing to settle for your second (or third) choice...then spring the bike that you really want on her. She'll think she's getting off cheap - as you pick up your new bike.

Teri figured it out years ago, yet it still works every time. :confused2:

BTW, great looking jacket.

What a little sweetheart she is!!! :worthy::worthy::worthy:

I got one of these puppies Danny, I think you might like it.

On hot days I took off the shell and took out the thermal liner. and was comfortable all day long. As the temps started to drop I just put on the shell and was toasty. I was riding in the upper 20's and was fine without the thermal liner. when I put in the thermal liner, WOW! was I warm as a bug in a rug.

This gal did a good write up on it here;

That's a nice jacket KJ, all kinds of versatility...I like it! But at 6' 5" I really need to go with the tall sizes, otherwise there's this 4" band of bare skin between my gloves and jacket that either gets sunburned or frostbitten!! :biglaugh:

6'5"??? Damn dude...you're more like size Wooky, not big'n tall.:rofl_200:
I'm only 6'1" but have freakishly long arms so I feel for ya man.

I'm running 6'4, and a little better than that in wingspan and the 3x size fits me great. It's advertised the 2x and 3x have a 28" sleeve. It seems to me the sizes run a little bigger. I'm using a 3x its listed at 52" chest, I have a 54" chest and the jacket is still comfortable. There is also a 4x size in the black jacket.

As you know Danny, I wear this jacket and like it very much. I'm 6' have a 6'2" wingspan, 52" chest. I wear the 3xl and the arms are just right as they stay in place over my short cuff gloves. It fits well over my shoulders and allows for my waistline to grow and shrink from 40 to 44 like it has the last 2 years. Meds and a sporadic exercise routine doesn't help.
I like the tourmaster jacket and have even tried one on but decided on the JR Sonic b/c of the leather. I was surprised how well the arm/pits/side mesh venting works. I have never overheated in this jacket while riding. It doesn't have any ballooning effect. I'm sure you'd be happy with it as long as you can find the proper size. I bought mine through New Enough and had no problems returning the 2xl I originally purchased and replaced it with the 3xl. Top notch customer service @ NE!:punk:

If you're looking for riding/ overpants check out Tourmaster Caliber or Fieldsheer Mercury 2.0 Textile Pants. both run around $143 but I'm hoping to pick some up on a winter sale much cheaper.
