There are 2 people on here that offer a carb refurbishment service.


Why try to buy a set of carbs of unknown conditioni so you have potentially 2 non working sets instead of having one working and tested set?

You're probably gonna pay for them what the shop quoted you in carburetor replacement & refurbishment parts, or even-more (their labor quote). I'd give those guys a chance to do what they say needs doing.

Fortunately, there are more-than two carburetor experts on-here offering refurbishment & repair. The O.P. apparently has stumbled-across a relative rarity, someone in a motorcycle repair shop who can fettle the VMax CV carburetors.

I rode it into the shop, he said he loves a Vmax lol young guy though in his 30's maybe 40s
