I had a 99' Legacy MAX for 20 years and now I am migrating to a 2020 Gen 2 (buy it Saturday). Really excited

Moving to Texas from Seattle with it so if anyone has any HOT WEATHER tips for the bike, that would be appreciated.
Look forward to all the great info here as I am sure the new bike will surprise me is so many ways.

Take it easy the first few times out, 3 gear roll on is a good place to start. It is like a gen 1 just a bunch more and handles better. It is truly a awesome bike and totally addictive.

I am not sold on the "engine Ice". I would stick with Yama coolant. :)
I do NOT like that stuff. Used it 1x. It feels like water. I think good quality antifreeze is the best bet. It will definitely keep seals running smooth. A billion miles a month in cars with no problem.

As for better cooling I saw NO change.

I think that Engine Ice is required at some tracks so you don't have that slippery stuff all over the track.
