The video was shot on Cass Lake, near Pontiac Mi, just north of Detroit. Ice and dirt track racing is pretty popular in the Flint area, Scott Parker, Jay Spingsteen, Bart Markel(RIP) are all from the area. You'd see area 1/2 - 1 acre ponds that were frozen either shoveled off for hockey or ice racing when I lived in Flushing, Mi.

Very very cool... and a pretty experienced rider from the look of it. He seemed to have a pretty good power-slide going on a few of those turns.

I guess all is not lost if I get sent to the great white north (anything north of I-10). :snow:
