I have a 1986 Vmax and I'm looking for an aftermarket source for a stock thermostat. Anyone have an idea where I might find one? Surprisingly enough the only thing I found on Ebay was in either Great Britan or China.

Any local autoparts store can help you out.
Thermostat - Stant #13758
Radiator Cap - Stant #11233
Cut and Paste from Dingy who got it from the venture forum:
"If you need a new thermostat, there is a Napa #156 and on the Napa box was a #33708 that I was able to cross reference to a Stant #13758 at my local auto parts dealer."

Thanks so much.

For anyone else looking, these t-tstats opens around 180 degrees F. and you'll run a little cooler.
These all fit.
1992 - 2001 Camry 2.2L
1996 - 2000 Rav4 2.0L
1980-1998 Tercel 1.5L

Try this, I know it says from east coast, more then likely east coast of another country but it’s a good thermostat. I’m running it in mine. Been in for three years now I guess

Luv the hub has been around for quite a few years selling vmax parts on eBay. I would have zero concerns buying from them.
However, the price on their T-stat is uncalled for. You can go to the auto parts store and get what you need for $8 instead of $50.

To late for myself anyhow, but hopefully Finatic catches this and goes the cheaper route If he hasn’t already done so. At the time, this was the coldest thermostat I could find. It’s givin absolutely no issues and my bike does run cooler for sure.
