I can hear a rumble noise coming from my waterpump is this a known issue what can it be can i change a part in there

It does happen but I don't think that often. There's a bearing in there that can be replaced. While apart, might as well replace all the seals and o-rings.

No kit I've heard of, but there should be a parts list on here somewhere. I'm sure Sean could put together what's needed. New pumps from Yamaha I'd imagine, but expensive and no need really, unless the housing was damaged.

I doubt you'll need the gear but check it over carefully and replace #4 and #5 if necessary. I don't replace #13 for the drain bolt gasket and only muck with the thermostat if the housing is leaking. I've never seen anything thermostat related go bad.

So, I replace 6-9, 13, 18, 23.
