What are my rims made out of? Looking for cleaning product to make em SHINE!

They are made out of aluminum. I do believe that they have a clear coat on the rims that can flake off as the wheel ages, but don't hold me to that. If they are bare aluminum use Autosol metal polish or Mother's works wheel too.
Aluminum rear and magnesium front.

Would mothers polish be ok to use on the kerker aluminum can as well?

It will be just fine on a kerker can.
I'm not a big fan of mothers mag and aluminum polish. Doesn't seem to do much IMO. Works ok as upkeep on something that already looks great. But doesn't seem to really freshen up something thats dull.
I've heard others mention that mothers billet polish is much better. Never tried it. I've had great luck with "purple metal polish" It even worked to clean the golden hue off my marks exhaust with a buffing wheel. Nice stuff.
There are a bunch of good ones out there. Flitz and Wenol are two that are pretty popular

85/86 wheels are light but not sure the exact weights?
