Yea I think we're ready to call this winter a wrap and get out and ride!
I got to get out today, 41 degrees.
I take it out for a run to good operating temp then on back home and love every freezing minute of the ride.
I'm trying some jetting combo's, makin some mods, just trying to keep the mod monkey in check LOL.
During my carb R&R which I could do blind folded (Strange Iv never had to take carbs off any other bike this often LOL) anyway I finally got tired of the
bowl drain hoses getting caught on the manifold boots, pulling them of the little barbed drain fittings.
So I have zip tied the hose at the barbed fitting end and made little pull proof holders for the bracket end of these drain hoses out of pop rivet heads.
All for the shut-in mod monkey....

OMG! Obsessive-Compulsive Police see 1/8" and 3/16" pop-rivets used! Not the same! 😨😖 For punishment, replace all your float needle seat screens, now!

Man what a harsh sentence, I read a post from bob1956, May 25, 2011 about my float needle seat screen assignment, seems like quite a job.
The mod monkey is scratching strange places...
I hope these screens can be cleaned doing a pea shooter or shooting the shot gun.
Do they ever really need to be replaced?

I added silver race striping to my 98 vmax. My first time pin-striping but was able to get everything dead center.
The other bike you see is a one off custom i built from scratch, it is a batman inspired bike that i have probably 600 hrs in sweat equity. Let me know if anyone is interested to see pics of it and ill post some.

I read that as bateman bike, thinking what the hell?

That pinstriping looks a top job - you masked it, spray painted then laquer on top?

For a change I did something too., fitted 2 smoked indicator lenses.

Why two I hear you ask? Well the base of the smoked lenses are about 0.5 mm larger in diameter so will not fit into the chromed bezel (not sure if you can see it in the photo below) - how annoying, but nothing 1/2 hour with a file wouldn't solve; second lens took much less as I spent less time trial fitting it.
Got some amber LED bulbs on the way...

That's why god invented Dremels.

Yeah, I did consider using a sanding cylinder in a dremel or flapper disc in the drill press but I didn't want to risk removing too much plastic and to end up with a non round finssh.

Something like a finger sander with fine sand paper would be the best option.

AKA power file.

No I used reflective silver ice pin striping vinyl, I wanted to be able to remove it just incase i didn't like it.

The Batman inspired motorcycle!
here are some photos. I made all the body panels from aluminum using only hand tools no CNC.
