What is this?

there are 2 of these one on each side of the bike in the V of the cylinders. I seem to have a small drip of oil from the one on the left side of the bike. I assume its a gasket issue but I can not find the parts on the Yamaha parts specs.

If you are referring to the 'thing' in the middle with the cap head screws then you should only have one.
It is an oil to water (coolant) heat exchanger.
Part #'s 50 & 51 which has two gaskets, 52 & 54.
