Who uses BG products?

Read a post here about BG products for gear oil and fork oil -

Anyone using them? I am considering purchasing fluids for the max shortly.

I use the BG Ultra Guard for my differential. You do not have to change that near as often as regular gear oil. I remember Sean telling me change it once and it'll last longer than the bike.

I also use BG 44K once per year. I split the can into three treatments and add for 3 consecutive fill-ups.

No, I use 15 wt Belray in my forks.

I use BG44K the same application as Maleko and BG Supercharge II as a regular fuel system treatmant.

Silkolene in the forks.

We use a few diff BG products including the synthetic power steering fluid (I think - it is the green stuff not the red stuff) for the fork fluid. It's very good stuff and doesn't chemically break down the internals like normal fluid does.

FYI....I haven't seen BG products anywhere in Ontario. So if you find a source let us know!

Dale-It's kinda odd here too, there's 'authorized' BG dealers and they're difficult to find. The big chains like Autozone, NAPA, etc. don't carry BG stuff, not yet anyway. :confused2:

My local Carquest carries BG. I love BG's products, I've only used it in automotive applications, but good stuff just the same. Their three step fuel system treatment rocks.unk:
