Windshield rating?

Just curious if anyone knows if Yamaha put a speed limit rating on their touring windshield? I would assume that at high speed it would put a lot stress on the mounting hardware.

I would assume that any accessory produced specifically for the VMAX by Yamaha would at least be able to handle the factory top speed.

hahaha, not too much, in my country they are very strict
around 190-200 kms/h

Gotcha, that’s close to factory top speed. I’ll just have to take it easy in the winter if I’m using it.

I have one of these touring shields that I would sell if anyone is looking. $200 plus shipping. Pictured are some light scratches in a small area of the shield.

I have it and can say it did fine at 177mph. Only held that speed for a short time but had no issues.
