Missed part of the message yes I am putting door panels & a headliner back in the truck . I have worked with dynamat & other thigs similar . I have also used rubberized undercoating to help with sound & it works really well. I already done the under side of the bed with it & am doing both sides of the can floor with & the back wall of the cab.

All Dynamat is, is cork. You can get the same result using sheets of cork from a craft store cut into strips and some 3M spray adhesive. And it's a hell of a lot cheaper.

Never had the stuff.

I'm a German Beer, Red Wine, Glenfiddich Scotch kind of guy. That's just what they were drinking in the movie.
I am supposed to be part German but can't stand beer. LOL All I drink is spiced rum & diet coke and an occasional Margurita . I am a creature of habit I guess that is all I have drank for at least the last 20 years

I have a left-over box of the stuff, and it's a lot-heavier-than cork. Asphalt, butyl rubber, mica, and thick aluminum foil, it appears to be.

Here is the Material Safety Data Sheet:

However, if there's a cheap substitute, that's good to-know.

I’m just sitting here in the shop (doing nothing) but stroking my beard, sippin’ my Glenn Livet archive 21 year old single malt and listening to Neil Young.

... and thinking what a time we would have if we were all together swapping lies and comparing scars.

Happy Thanksgiving gents!

Disclaimer I don’t own all that. My slice is 5.5 acres but I treat it like it’s mine. How’s the yard art coming along?
It is nice to have land mine is 10 acres backed up to a lot of land. I am the last house at the end of a one lane dead end. I took a break from the yard art to work on the truck. This dog and bolt elephant is the last thing I built and a snake. Oh and some hearts for my wife

Same with me, last house on a dead end with a trail running off into the woods. My neighbors are forest creatures. My daughter found an old abandoned family burial plot off trail in the middle of nowhere. The stones date from the early to middle 1800’s. Creepy and awesome at the same time. Happy thanksgiving and I hope that shoulder calms down for you.

I'm in a very developed part of Suwanee, Georgia, but we sort of got lucky. We're dead center of a cul-de-sac. Out behind our house are protected wetlands about 300 yards wide, so the nearest houses are further than that away from us.

During the spring you can't see a thing, just the woods. Here's a pic I just took off my back deck which is the middle floor of the house.

Looks nice

You guys are killing me. I’m a country boy and grew up in rural western North Carolina not too far from where Kyle is. But I chased an engineering career for 35 years… Literally around the United States. Landed in the Phoenix metro area 22 years ago and stuck. Would love to get back to North Carolina, but have pretty deep roots out here now.

So, even though I live in the middle of sprawling suburbia, at least I’m on a county island. I don’t have acreage, but I do have an acre! Sort of a compromise I guess. We raise chickens and although this is a desert, we do get flood irrigation from the canal system that allows lots of greenery and fruit trees.
