Been a British car and motorcycle fan for many years. Restored an Austin Healey 3000 BJ8 & a ‘71 MGB. Had a 59 bugeye for quite a number of years as well. If I did an early MG, I believe would be the TF. The C is a bit too primitive for my taste. Nice car though!

And now that we’re back on this topic again, Kyle started this thread back in November. I had plans then, and commented about it, that I had intended to spend some time with a couple of fuel injected projects over the winter.
That did not happen. I got hugely distracted by the 05 anniversary bike and now there’s the 90 that I picked up. Also spent some time on the CBX…with still unfinished business there...and a big chunk of time with the 78 café Goldwing that I did not report here.
Sometimes, it’s not just about new project work, but maintenance of the existing fleet. There are not enough hours in the day, or years in a lifetime.
So, am I the only one who’s winter plans changed so dramatically in the short span of five months? And they say that changing one’s mind is a woman’s prerogative. I think it goes both ways!

I never know what my projects are going to be for sure. It all depends on how bad my back and neck are giving me problems. I just play it by ear but I tend to stick to small stuff now days. With that being said . I do have new pistons, cam and lifters ,torque converter and heads sitting here for the luv.lol
One of my favorite illustrations/stickers from speed equipment. I knew Harvey Crane, the owner. They're gone, now.

That is a whole lot of winters.LOLThis is a multiple winter project. A 1948 MG TC, that my Dad bought and tore apart in 1975.

Thanks ! Not sure someone wants to watch some redneck that never knows what he is doing though. I just make it up as I go very seldom have a plan .

Getting parts in and slowly getting progress on the Impala. All the suspension is on hand now. Fuel injection stuff is on the way. Got to get the brakes sorted out then order the hard lines. Found a donor 4 door for the quarters. One partially installed. Some other parts stripped and car is stripped down. Got some scan work done on the unobtainable rear emblems (borrowed one long enough to scan it). Will be making a billet set that should look fantastic and just like the originals.

Sean I may have missed the post, that's a '67? Going to be a restomod? No LS, keep the original block, which I suspect must-be a 427? Is it a Z24?
Yea, check out the first post on page 4 I think it was. It's an original 1967 SS 427. The original 427 is long gone (gone when we got the car in 87). We have a 468 for it now. Doing a roller motor for it (engines mostly built). Going to do a 4L80E (which is why we went with the Sniper X fuel injection setup too). PST everywhere with Poly everywhere. Boxed and adjustable rear arms. New springs. Cherokee gear box (get rid of the way to twitch OEM box). Going to run stock AC setup (no vintage air that we thought about originally). Stock disc brake setup for now. 18" wheels likely but the rally style is what we plan for now. Making this car run/drive as nicely as possible and dad will use it as his "daily" to run all of the errands for me every day. Needs to get some good years in driving it while he can. We'll not worry about wear and tear as that can be fixed.
Eventually will look very similar to this (his can is the blue but with the white top which will go back on it and he's got the black interior).

If I ran a big block as my daily drive around here, I'd have to take out a loan to pay for the gas.

I didn't make this but I bought it at the state college end of the calendar year art sale, the same college where I used to teach EMS. It's gonna go-up on the wall. It's about 15" tall. I might put it next-to my picture of Alice Cooper from early in his career. I didn't take the pic, but it's a real, "WTF?" When I lived in MI (late '60's/early '70's) Alice was becoming popular, they were based in Detroit, and starting to get national airplay.
I like Sean's quarter panel/rear fenders install. It looks simple, but it's anything-but! Do you use CLECO's? Is the unit-body gonna get entirely-stripped and repainted, using a rotisserie?
