wont rev past 4krpm

ive scrolled through the post trying to find something about it but last year b4 i parked it i could rev where ever i wanted but now going down the road its acting like its maxed out at 4k ive cleaned the carbs and synced them still nothing i need help guys

Too lean maybe, starving itself. When I try to rev mine with the airbox cover off, it's fine up to about 4000 but won't rev higher. In effect, too lean.

Yep.....I was gonna ask if the airbox is on?

Air box is on but I'll check for any leaks thanks guys I'll let you know if that works or not

May be the fuel pump as well. May not be pumping enough.

One of the rubber boots between the air box and the carb had a hole and to test I put tape over it and jt worked so all good I just know what I'm gonna replace now
